Martin Schindler will face Damon Heta in the opening Quarter-Final of the European Darts Grand Prix in Stuttgart after two superb displays to begin Sunday's action.
Schindler began the day with a tense win over Martin Lukeman who was unable to carry on from his victory over Michael van Gerwen.
Albeit he missed a match dart before 'The Wall' smashed his way through in a 6-5 victory to reach his third Quarter-Final on the European Tour.
There he will face a similarly in-form opponent in Damon Heta who turned up the Heat to down Ryan Searle in a 6-5 win.
He produced a 101.8 average, four 180's and 55% on the doubles including a 164 checkout and they will both now head into tonight's final session.
