From May 20 to May 22, the European Darts Grand Prix is scheduled in Stuttgart. During this Euro Tour tournament, £140,000 in prize money will be distributed.
All the qualifiers are guaranteed £1,000, while the top 16 players on the European Darts Grand Prix placings list will receive £2,000 anyway. However, these sixteen players will have to win their first match in the second round for the prize money to actually count towards the Order of Merit and other rankings.
Qualifying players who win their first match will also go on to receive £2,000 in prize money. The third round is good for £3000, while quarter-finalists go home with £5000 anyway. The semi-finalists will get at least £6500, before the rewards go into the five figures for reaching the final.
The winner of the seventh Euro Tour tournament of the season will go home with £25,000. The runner-up at the European Darts Grand Prix gets £10,000.
