Sherrock returns to winners' circle in PDC Women's Series with Event 11 triumph

Fallon Sherrock turned up to Barnsley for PDC Women's Series for Events 9-1`0 after previously playing in the Dutch Darts Masters in the night prior and as a result produced an under-par day by her stands in these tournaments.
But after Lisa Ashton and Lorraine Winstanley won titles yesterday, it is Sherrock's turn to join the winners' circle once more with a third title of the season for 'The Queen of the Palace'.
She defeated Natalie Gilbert 5-3 in the final after priorly coming through a tough latter half of the tournament including Kirsty Hutchinson and producing a 102 average to see off Aileen de Graaf in the semi-finals.
It is also an important win for her ambitions of Ally Pally qualification as it slightly closes the gap to Lorraine Winstanley once more. Going into the final event of the weekend, only two spots remain for Blackpool next month with Jane Densley and Katie Sheldon in provisional qualification.
The likes of Rhian O'Sullivan, Kirsty Hutchinson, Robyn Byrne, Corrine Hammond and Mikuru Suzuki remain in contention though with Ashton, Sherrock, Winstanley and De Graaf joined by Laura Turner who will swap her commentator role for playing on stage at the Winter Gardens as well as Rhian Griffiths.
