Sky Sports apologizes after Price makes gesture construed as potentially offensive during De Sousa win at PDC World Darts Championship

Gerwyn Price sealed victory over Jose de Sousa to reach the Quarter-Finals of the PDC World Darts Championship but social media was full of comments about an incident which was apologized for by Sky Sports.

Price reacted to missing out on a 180 by pulling a face which could be construed as offensive to disabled people which was commented on during the Josh Rock and Jonny Clayton game with an apology issued by the broadcaster.

Videos and images soon emerged of this after being missed at the time with many condemning Price for this calling it 'deeply inappropriate' and 'disgusting behavior'.

Like other recent incidents such as Scott Williams' middle finger and Nathan Aspinall's gesture during the Jermaine Wattimena match, it could also see 'The Iceman' face a fine from the DRA.
