Michael van Gerwen was only able to enjoy his regained top position in the Premier League Darts for one day.
The 31-year-old Dutchman
lost to Glen Durrant on Wednesday evening in the
Premier League Darts. As a result, Durrant went over Van Gerwen again in the standings.
Peter Wright rose to third place with
his victory over Jeffrey de Zwaan.
Nathan Aspinall dropped two places and is now the number five.
The Asp lost to Daryl Gurney, who therefore passed the last place to
Rob Cross. The latter needs at least a draw on Thursday evening to avoid elimination after Judgement Night.
