Wright was exceptional hitting a 102.2 average with three 180's and 58% on the doubles to dispel 'The Black Cobra' - who was given his opportunity after Rotterdam's cancellation.
'Snakebite' started clinically smashing in a 130 checkout to go 3-1 up in double quick time over the Dutchman. His control was extended as he took out 93 to make it 4-1 with a 98 average.
A 64 checkout saw a 12-darter for Wright who as a result was one away from a guaranteed point. He put his average up to 100.5 with 55% on the doubles at that point to make it 6-1.
A 13-darter which ended on double 19 claimed the victory and maximum points for Wright as his aim at the play-offs continues.
