Michael van Gerwen has taken over the lead in the Premier League Darts from Glen Durrant after Night Seven in Milton Keynes.
Van Gerwen himself
won 7-2 against Rob Cross, while Durrant
shared the spoils with Peter Wright. They switched positions in the
Premier League Darts standings as a result. On Wednesday evening they can put each other behind, as they will meet each other on Night Eight.
Nathan Aspinall kept his place in the top four by
beating Gerwyn Price 7-4, who therefore still sits on the seventh place. Price saw
Daryl Gurney come closer,
with his win over Chris Dobey. Cross stands between the Northern Irishman and the Welshman with five points.
Wright is still the number five, but saw
Gary Anderson go over
Michael Smith in the standings. The Scotsman defeated Smith
in a spectacular opener of the Premier League Darts resumption.
