Stefan Bellmont will return to the PDC World Darts Championship and finally make it onto the ProTour as a full time member in 2026 after sealing the latest title on the Challenge Tour.
The penultimate event saw Bellmont defeat Daniel Ayres in the final 5-3 after seeing off one of yesterday's winners in Jurjen van der Velde alongside established stars including Adam Smith-Neale and Colin Osborne.
Darius Labanauskas and Jamai van den Herik already have Ally Pally spots confirmed via various routes which has also given Ted Evetts a lifeline as 'Super Ted' who sits in third now looks likely to be at the Palace. While he will need to win the title and hope Labanauskas will be out early in the last event to claim a Tour Card. Michael Unterbuchner currently sits in the last spot but has a certain Mervyn King on his tail who is only around ยฃ100 behind him so a storyline to follow in the last event.
The PDC Challenge Tour is designed for players who participated in the Q-School, but failed to secure a Tour Card there. This circuit offers them a second chance to put themselves in the spotlight.
The highest ranked players on the Challenge Tour Order of Merit can participate as alternates in Players Championship tournaments during the season when spots become available. At the end of the year, the top two ranked players earn a coveted PDC Tour Card for the next two seasons - as well as a starting ticket to the World Darts Championship in Alexandra Palace.
