Luke Littler has somehow found a way into the Night 13 final of the 2024
Premier League Darts, surviving a slew of matchdarts from
Nathan Aspinall en route to a stunning comeback.
Helped by a 180 in the opening leg, Littler immediately broke the Aspinall broke to land an early blow on his practice partner. Two missed darts in the following leg from Littler however, quickly allowed Aspinall to break back.
After the next two legs both went with the darts, Aspinall broke again in leg 6 to nudge back in front and this time consolidated his advantage by holding throw in leg 7 to make it 5-2 in his favour. Responding with six perfect darts, Littler couldn't pin the nine but did return to mop up and get a leg back. After Aspinall then missed two matchdarts on leg 9, Littler punished and was suddenly back within one and as two more mafchdarts came and went for the Asp in the following leg, Littler sent the tie to a decider. In the last leg, it was the teen sensation who sealed a quite fabulous comeback win, forcing his play in the weekly final via a 14-darter.
