Mensur Suljovic is the first player through to the semi-finals at the World Series of Darts Finals in Amsterdam defeating Krzysztof Ratajski in a 10-9 win.
Suljovic hit a 99 average and nine 180's en route to a tense deciding leg victory in what was a high quality affair between the pair.
Suljovic was excellent to begin the tie smashing in a 119 checkout to begin proceedings and from there he went 3-0 up to continue his early dominance with an 83 checkout.
At the interval though, Suljovic began to miss doubles and Ratajski broke back to trail 3-2. 'The Polish Eagle' continued to cling on and he punished more missed darts and make it 5-5 and Ratajski then led with a 124 checkout surprisingly going 6-5 up.
It continued to go back and forth with Suljovic breaking back to make it 6-6 and Ratajski broke again to lead 7-6 again.
Suljovic finally regained the upperhand at 8-7 up and he seemed to be going towards the finishing line only for Ratajski to tie it up again.
Suljovic left himself 46 for the match but Ratajski smashed in a 161 checkout to force a decider. The Austrian though held his nerve to go through to the Semi-Finals coming through a tough test.
