Suzuki, Hedman and Greaves among players through to last eight on Women's Series; Sherrock and Ashton suffer early exit

The seventeenth tournament of the PDC Women's Series has now progressed to the quarter-finals. Familiar names such as Mikuru Suzuki, Lorraine Winstanley, Deta Hedman, Aileen de Graaf and Beau Greaves joined the last eight.

Fallon Sherrock was eliminated at the last 32 by Suzuki, who then also beat Anastasia Dobromyslova. Lisa Ashton lost to Lorraine Winstanley at the last 32, while Beau Greaves won convincingly over Laura Turner (4-0 with 98 average) at the last 16.

The ladies can earn prize money with their results. These performances will count towards the Women's Series Order of Merit. The numbers one and two get an invitation to the World Darts Championship. Lisa Ashton has already secured her participation in Alexandra Palace.
