Phil Taylor has officially signed up to the World Seniors Darts Championship which is set to take place in early 2022.
Taylor was the first to be signed up to the tournament which is ran by MODUS Sports alongside Snooker Legends and put on Twitter that he had signed a contract.
In addition to the 16-time World Champion, the likes of Martin Adams, Andy Fordham, John Lowe, Bob Anderson, Richie Burnett, Keith Deller, Dennis Priestley, John Part and Les Wallace have all been invited to take part.
Further places will be made available during a 'Seniors Qualifying School' which is set to take place later this year before the tournament is provisionally planned for 2022 with Co Stompé likely to attend.
Advanced discussions have taken place with not only venues but also TV broadcasters to showcase the event and the winner will receive £25,000 for claiming the title.
