Taylor swaps darts for pool cue to take part in live TV event

Phil Taylor will swap his darts for a pool cue for once later this month when he takes part in a pool tournament.

The 16-time world champion is one of 64 participants at the Ultimate Pool Masters. Taylor received a wildcard from the organisation to participate. The best pool players from England also compete in this event.

Taylor is in a group with former European 8-ball champion Rob Chilton. They will face each other on Monday April 26. The matches are played over a format of best of 15 frames and players have a shot-clock of 45 seconds to play their ball.
