Ten players tipped by fans for future World Championship glory

The PDC recently asked the darting public which players they think will become world champions in the future. Meanwhile, the PDC has come up with a result with the ten most mentioned names.

Among others, Dirk van Duijvenbode and Dimitri van den Bergh were tipped as future world champions, as well as 21-year-old Dutchman Gian van Veen. The latter recently crowned himself the best player of the PDC Development Tour 2023.

On that circuit, he left behind, among others, 16-year-old Luke Littler, who is also mentioned by many fans as a player who will one day win a world title. The same goes for big names like Jonny Clayton, Luke Humphries and Nathan Aspinall.

The name of Josh Rock, currently the reigning junior world champion, also fell frequently. As well as the names of reigning women's world champion Beau Greaves and current European Championship winner Ross Smith.
