"There is lots more to come from me" - Michael van Gerwen in hunt for first Premier League point of 2024 in Berlin

Michael van Gerwen will take on Nathan Aspinall in the quarter-final on Night 2 of the 2024 Premier League Darts on Thursday night in the German capital, Berlin.

Both players are pointless after early defeats last week in Cardiff. Van Gerwen lost out to Michael Smith in his first match last week, while Aspinall went down against Gerwyn Price.

"There is lots more to come from me,'' Van Gerwen insists in conversation with the PDC. “I was a little shaky the whole game against Michael [Smith], and this just shouldn’t happen to me. Simple as that."

A boost was the final at the Masters last weekend. Mighty Mike had to beat Stephen Bunting in the final. “I am not in form yet. I’m still struggling here and there, and I know I can do a lot better.'' stated the Dutchman.

Van Gerwen also soon expects to show good results in Premier League Darts. ''You have to perform at the right moments. I have a lot to gain, but you have to work hard for it,'' Van Gerwen said.
