These 32 players will compete for PDC World Darts Championship after Christmas as first half concludes

The first half of the World Darts Championship is over. The remaining play will first enjoy the Christmas season before continuing the battle for the world title on Tuesday 27 December.

There are still 32 players in the tournament. The big cracker for the third round is of course the huge clash between Gerwyn Price and Raymond van Barneveld. Last month, 'Barney' won twice over the Welshman at the Grand Slam of Darts, but can Van Barneveld do the same on the World Darts Championship stage?

Defending champion, Peter Wright returns to face Kim Huybrechts, while once again Joe Cullen and Damon Heta will lock horns. A highly touted tie will also be Nathan Aspinall facing Josh Rock and Gary Anderson taking on Chris Dobey.

While for Michael van Gerwen, it is Mensur Suljovic next with the winner facing either Dirk van Duijvenbode or Ross Smith. Some superb ties await.
