Last weekend, three players managed to throw a
nine-darter on the PDC
Development Tour in tournaments held in Milton Keynes. Saturday saw two hits, while one nine darter was thrown on Sunday.
Jack Howarth managed to record a perfect leg in his opening match of
Development Tour 18. The Englishman won his match against Hungarian Malik Istvan 4-0 by deciding the match in nine arrows via two 180 scores and a 141 finish. Later in the tournament,
Sebastian Bialecki threw a
nine-darter in his match against Leighton Bennett at the last 32. Unfortunately for the Pole, the victory in that match did go 4-2 to Bennett.
On Sunday at the final tournament of this
Development Tour weekend, where a nine darter fell again. Morgan Shillito produced one in his duel against Harvey Wilkinson at the last 64. Through two 180s and the required 141 check-out, Shillito put a 4-2 final score on the scoreboard.
A total of four nine darters have now been thrown on the PDC
Development Tour this season. Owen Bates threw one earlier this season during the second tournament of the season.
