From Monday, Oct. 2, the World Grand Prix 2023 will start. Ahead of this tournament, we look back at great moments from the past of this unique tournament.
Brendan Dolan made history in 2011 by becoming the first player ever to throw a nine-darter at the World Grand Prix in Dublin. He did so in his match against James Wade.
An extra handsome performance, since during the World Grand Prix one must end and start with a double. Dolan started with 160, followed by a maximum score. The Northern Irishman then managed to throw a 161 finish to complete his perfect leg.
