From Saturday, November 11 to Sunday, November 19, the seventeenth edition of the Grand Slam of Darts will be played in Wolverhampton. Ahead of the start of this tournament, Dartsnews looks back on special moments from the history of this tournament.
Gary Anderson and Gerwyn Price are not known as the best of friends and probably never will be after the shenanigans that ensued during the 2018 Grand Slam of Darts final.
In a very heated final Price and Anderson got into a fight several times. The Scot was annoyed by the Welshman's many cheers and even gave 'The Iceman' a shove when he was completely done with his opponent's behavior.
After Price took advantage of his matchdart and celebrated his final victory at length, "The Flying Scotsman" quickly disappeared from the stage. For a while it looked like Anderson would be absent for the awards ceremony, but eventually the two-time world champion reluctantly showed up.
