The second day of the PDC Europe Super League started on Wednesday. The participants will play again on Wednesday against the other players in their pools. After this day of play, the four best players from each group will advance to the knockout phase. The winner of the tournament gets to participate in the World Darts Championship.
In Group A, Lukas Wenig, Kai Gotthardt and Daniel Klose seem to have already done enough to get through the pool. The battle for the fourth spot is likely to be between Michael Klönhammer and Marco Obst.
Pascal Rupprecht and Liam Maendl-Lawrance currently have the best papers in Group B. Behind them, Andree Welge, Marcel Gerdon and Paul Krohne follow close behind. They will normally divide the final two follow-up spots from this group.
Dragutin Horvat is still clear in Group C and is already sure of a place in the last sixteen. Max Hopp also looks like he will make it with five points already. The battle for third and fourth place is still between Dominik Gruellich, Arno Merk, Franz Roetzsch and Christopher Toonders.
In Group D, a similar situation. Niko Springer and Nico Kurz have already taken enough points. The remaining four names - Manfred Bilderl, Rene Eidams, Steffen Siepmann and Markus Kessler - are still in the race for spots three and four in this pool.
