The nineteenth edition of the UK Open starts this Friday. Before the start of the so called FA Cup of Darts, Dartsnews looks back on some of the best moments and matches in the history of this tournament.
Up until the 2010 edition, four nine-dart finishes have been hit at the UK Open but they all belonged to Phil Taylor.
Mervyn KIng finally managed to snap that streak in 2010 with a perfect leg of his own.
He hit the nine-dart finish against Gary Anderson and it was his second in a TV tournament after one was hit at the South African Masters in 2009.
