The 28th edition of the PDC World Darts Championship begins on Tuesday 15 December and ahead of that, Dartsnews takes a look back at some of the best moments from over the years in the showpiece event.
James Wade is one of the favourites for this year's tournament but the semi-final of the 2012 tournament was perhaps his best chance to win a World Championship.
Both Wade and Lewis were part of Windgate which saw gusts of wind across the stage making it difficult for both players with the game temporarily disrupted.
Wade went 5-1 up but collapsed completely as Lewis produced one of the most remarkable comebacks of all time to win through.
