Madars Razma will make his second appearance at the PDC World Darts Championship and will take on Toru Suzuki or Gary Anderson.
It has been a difficult year for many and in the run up to the showpiece event, Razma admitted that not being able to properly practice isn't the best.
"The most difficult thing is that after every tournament I have to be in home isolation for ten days. This makes it difficult to train with other players," said Razma to RTLnieuws.
"So in the run-up to the World Championship, I will have to train at home on my own. Hopefully I can go a little earlier. Traveling to London to practice perhaps with my Lithuanian friend Darius Labanauskas. I don't like online darts at all, because I just can't concentrate 100 percent on it. But I'm certainly not complaining, because it could all have been a lot worse. Hopefully we can quickly return to a 'normal' life. "
Last year he lost out to Harry Ward on his debut and after being so disappointed at missing out, he hopes to use that against Toru Suzuki.
"I still remember how disappointed I was after that game. I have now left that game behind, because I cannot change the past, only the present. I have learned a lot from that experience and I am 100 percent ready for it. "
"This year I will play against Toru Suzuki", he added. "All I know about him is that he is part of 'Team Unicorn'. I hope I can find some more videos of him, because I have no idea what his playing style is like and don't want to be surprised on stage."
A tie with Gary Anderson could follow and despite not looking forward, it is a goal for him.
"Of course you want to play against the best players in the world, and Gary is one of them. But of course I don't look too far ahead, as I have to survive the first round first."
"Last year I was ready to show my good game, but I immediately lost my first game. I focus completely on the first match and then see how far I can get.
