This Friday and Saturday, the PDC will head to the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam for the first time, where the Dutch Darts Masters is on the schedule.
In recent years, the PDC has twice visited the AFAS Live across from the Ziggo Dome for the World Series of Darts Finals.
In a packed AFAS Live, Michael van Gerwen and Danny Noppert faced each other in the final in 2019. At the time, Noppert reached his first televised final at the PDC after victories over Jeffrey de Zwaan, Gary Anderson, Ian White and Dave Chisnall.
Van Gerwen made it to the final of the World Series of Darts Finals in front of his home crowd by defeating Gerwyn Price, Jonny Clayton and Mensur Suljovic. It was then Van Gerwen who claimed the title by defeating Noppert in the final.
