Michael van Gerwen will participate in the Dutch Darts Masters later this week at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam, as he confirmed his return on Twitter.
The Dutchman had a surgery on his right arm on June 14, a day after winning the Premier League Darts. Van Gerwen therefore missed the World Cup of Darts and there were doubts whether Mighty Mike would make the World Series tournament in Amsterdam. Van Gerwen has now put an end to that uncertainty.
''Looking forward to returning this weekend in Amsterdam for the Dutch Darts Masters. A gentle practice today. Thank you for all the messages about my operation all went very well'', he said on Twitter.
The Dutch Darts Masters will take place on June 24 and 25. Eight players invited by the PDC will compete against eight top Dutch players.
