World Matchplay. DartsNews.com continues to look back at some of the best moments from the prestigious tournament.
Phil Taylor won seven of his sixteen World Matchplay titles consecutively from 2008 to 2014. In 2015, his impressive winning streak came to an end.
Taylor did reach the semi-finals after victories over John Henderson, Andy Hamilton and Dave Chisnall, extending his winning streak to 38 matches.
James Wade then handed him his first defeat at the World Matchplay since 2007 by winning 17-14.
