This weekend the World Matchplay starts in Blackpool. Premium Dart Data looked at which players have played the most legs on this prestigious tournament.
The absolute front runner is Phil Taylor, who won the World Matchplay sixteen times in total. He has played 2227 legs at the Winter Gardens during his career.
That is almost twice as many as James Wade, who with 1235 legs is the most experienced player of the current field. 'The Machine' has been at Blackpool since 2006. Adrian Lewis is number three with 980 legs, followed by Ronnie Baxter with 968.
Dennis Priestley is fifth with 867 legs, but could be passed by Michael van Gerwen (831) this year. Of the current field, Gary Anderson (734 legs) and Peter Wright (626 legs) are among the top 10 players with the most legs on the World Matchplay.
