We can once again enjoy some brilliant walk-ons during the World Darts Championship later this month, but perhaps the best ever comes from Wayne Mardle.
To the tune of the song Hawaii Five-O by The Ventures, Mardle made his way to the stage all fired up and whipping the crowd into a frenzy in the process.
In 2020, Mardle's effort was voted the best walk-on of all time by thousands of fans via a poll.

- I completely agree with Vincent's comments on "whistlegate". It's great to have someone with Vincent's exprience address this issue, so hopefully clearer and stricter guidlelines can be given to referees, security and members of the crowd. No whistling during throws, and something like: whistlers evicted and fined a hefty sum.
