Mardle appeals to fans at PDC World Darts Championship: "Cheer for the player you want to win, not boo the player you don't"

Wayne Mardle has not been a player at the World Darts Championship for a long time, but has been working as a commentator and pundit for Sky Sports at the most important tournament of the year for several years.

Mardle hopes the fans will behave themselves at Alexandra Palace this year. On Twitter, the five-time semifinalist posted an appeal to fans traveling to London.

"To all those attending the World Darts Championship next week. Cheer for the player you want to win, not Boo the player you don’t. You guys can make the atmosphere so special," he said on Twitter.
