The World Grand Prix will be played from September 28 through October 4 at the Mattioli Arena. The tournament is known as one of the most unique events on the PDC calendar, because every leg must start and finish on a double.
The field will again feature 32 players in 2026. Defending champion Luke Littler will aim for back-to-back titles in Leicester. The current world number one will face competition from the likes of Luke Humphries, the 2023 winner, and Michael van Gerwen, who has already lifted the trophy six times. Gian van Veen, Gerwyn Price, Jonny Clayton, Stephen Bunting, James Wade, Josh Rock and 2024 winner Mike De Decker will all cherish the chance to lift the title.
The organisers have announced that ticket sales will take place in three phases. The first sales window opens on Monday, 05/11 at 12:00 PM BST and is exclusively accessible to annual PDCTV subscribers. To be eligible, fans must hold an active annual subscription no later than Friday, 05/01 at 11:59 PM BST.
The second phase begins on Tuesday, 05/12 at 12:00 PM BST. In this round, so-called Pre-Sale Members will gain access to the remaining tickets. Supporters can register for this, provided it is done no later than Friday, 05/08 at 11:59 PM BST.
If tickets are still available thereafter, general sale will follow on Wednesday, 05/13 at 12:00 PM BST. From that moment, the remaining seats will be available to everyone.
With its unique double-in double-out format, a strong field, and growing fan interest, the World Grand Prix ranks among the biggest tournaments on the darts calendar. As a result, tickets for Leicester are expected to sell out quickly once again.
