Bradley Brooks has been the stand-out of PDC UK Q-School thus far with 'Bam Bamm' just missing out on an outright return to the PDC Tour yesterday. He lost to unknown Tom Bissell in the final but has been hitting ton plus averages for fun through both stages.
He leads the Averages from Day One of the Final Stage albeit only just. But he did hit three of the marks in the list compiled by Premium Dart Data. He leads with 103.77 compared to Ryan O'Connor, another surprise name hitting the heights. He pinned 103.56.
Justin Hood and Mervyn King both hit averages over the 102 mark ahead of Graham Hall who hit just over 101 as he aims to rejoin the tour like King at the first time of asking. Brooks features again with two more ton plus showings. He hit 100.91 and 100.70 in two further victories after also hitting a 108 earlier in the week twice. He also hit 107 on the opening day.
So he certainly has more in the tank and will aim for another good run today which will basically confirm his Tour Card through the Order of Merit. But of course, he'd rather not have to go through that route and wants to win it outright.
Others to feature include Brandon Weening who played at Lakeside last month, Darryl Pilgrim who is always good for a huge average at some point. While Fallon Sherrock who has perhaps played some of her best stuff thus far at Q-School had a good run yesterday and hit 98.02 to also appear on the list alongside Mike Warburton, John O'Shea and Greg Ritchie to close it out.
This in comparison to EU which saw Viktor Tingstrom perform even better but it was less high quality. He hit 105 in winning his Tour Card. But the mean average was around 95 and there were only three above 100+.
