ORDER OF MERIT PDC UK Q-School 2025 Final Stage: Brooks top of the pile, Sherrock & Whitlock well-positioned; Greaves, King and other big names pointless after Day One

The first day on the final stage is done at UK Q-School 2025, with the relatively unknown Tom Bissell emerging from the pack to claim a PDC Tour Card. In terms of the Order of Merit though, it's still all to play for, with some big names having work to do heading into Day Two.
As mentioned, Bissell took the Tour Card on offer on Day One but by virtue of being the losing finalist, Bradley Brooks sits top of the pile in the Order of Merit on 5 points. With the early projection being 6 points and a good leg difference should be enough to claim a Tour Card via the Order of Merit, 'Bam Bam' is in a strong position already.
Looking further down the list, losing semi-finalist Aden Kirk and Tom Sykes are on 4 points, with the likes of Henry Coates, Adam Paxton and Jim McEwan also in the Tour Card-winning spots at this point, although obviously with only one day of four played out, their position is far from secure.
In terms of some of the bigger names, Fallon Sherrock, John Henderson, Lee Evans and Simon Whitlock are in a group of players on 1 point after reaching the last 32 today. Meanwhile, the likes of Adam Smith-Neale, Darryl Pilgrim, Mervyn King, Richie Burnett, Beau Greaves, Andy Boulton, Scott Mitchell, Jamie Hughes and Keegan Brown among others are pointless after the first day's play.

During the final stage, Tour Cards are actually distributed. Of the 29 Tour Cards available, eight will be distributed immediately. At both the British and European Q-School, four days of play will be completed during the final phase. The eight direct cards will go to all daily winners at the tournaments.
The remaining 21 Tour Cards can be earned through the Q-School Order of Merit. At both events, points can be earned per win (not counting preliminaries, ed.).
With several constant results, players can still get a Tour Card this way, without having a day's success. At the European Q-School twelve Tour Cards can still be distributed via the ranking, in Milton Keynes at the UK Q-School only nine.

- Is this the start of an attempt to say that he (Littler) is the best ever as he has won most money. Perhaps adjust all prize money earned by allowing for inflation. If Littler gets close too (does not even have to overtake) both MVG’s and Taylor’s Major titles total then he is in the conversation. - It is shocking and unbelievable that 2 Hotty who was always such a decent player, 2 time World Champion and won the Grand Slam when it meant something. He really should have joined the PDC earlier. He has just disappeared off the radar. Such a shame when one of your favourite players just dissappears. I guess he is concentrating on the carpentry. I would like to see more players involved on a weekly basis similar to the Modus Super Series. A knockout tournament with 16 winners from each week.
