Tournament averages from The Masters winners (2013-2020)

The Masters begins on Friday evening with 24 players set to take to the oche in a new expanded line-up for the traditional curtain raiser at the Marshall Arena in Milton Keynes and before proceedings start, we take a look at the Tournament averages from previous winners.

Last year saw Peter Wright lift the trophy after winning the World title and he averaged 98.49 as he defeated Joe Cullen (10-7), Dave Chisnall (10-0), Gary Anderson (11-7) and Michael Smith (11-10).

Michael van Gerwen previously dominated proceedings winning five in a row with his best year coming towards the peak of his powers back in 2017 where he had a tournament average of 106.00.

He will aim to reclaim his title this weekend in Milton Keynes. The only other players to win it are Phil Taylor (2013) and James Wade (2014) who hit 105.50 and 99.11 respectively.
