This event is traditionally considered the last big date before the World Darts Championship. The Players Championship Finals is the final tournament of the Players Championship circuit. The 64 players who have done best on this tour will be at the Players Championship Finals.

The 32 winners of Friday's matches return to Butlin's Resort Saturday afternoon for the second round of the Players Championship Finals. Then the Last 16 will take place on Saturday night.

On Sunday, Nov. 24, eight players remain in the tournament. They will play in the quarterfinals on Sunday afternoon. On Sunday night are the semifinals and finals of the Players Championship Finals.

In 2023, Luke Humphries took the title at the Players Championship Finals in Minehead. The Englishman won for the first time in Minehead by dealing with Michael van Gerwen (11-9) in the final.
