Luke Littler's hunt for back-to-back
UK Open titles continues with Gerwyn Price, Josh Rock and James Wade also into the semi-finals in Minehead.
Littler saw off Danny Noppert 10-6 while Price took down his World Cup teammate Jonny Clayton 10-8 in the top battle of the session ahead of tonight's semi-finals and final at the
UK Open.
Littler was 3-0 down against Danny Noppert in his quarter-final. Noppert broke with a 66 checkout to go 2-0 up and then held for 3-0 but 'The Nuke' fought back. Double 20 was pinned and Littler headed into the first break only one behind at 3-2.
Littler levelled coming from 3-0 down to make it 4-4. Albeit only a hold so Noppert had the chance to go 5-4 up. Noppert pinned double 20 for 5-4 up. He continued to go ahead as Littler continued to snap at his heels.
Littler went 6-5 up here breaking throw and was now throwing for 7-5. Impetus with 'The Nuke'. An incredible 161 from Littler who responded to a missed 130 to go 8-5 up. An 11-darter on double 10 from Littler who broke again and was one away from victory now. One he sealed with an 81 checkout.
Then onto Gerwyn Price who won 10-8 with a 98 average, seven 180's en route as he booked yet another UK Open semi-final to end the session.
A 152 right out the gate from Gerwyn Price who went 1-0 up with a superb start from The Iceman. Double 10 and Price held for 2-0 here in the early going. Finally a hold for Clayton albeit Price did miss 109 for another break 2-1 to The Iceman.

Clayton was into the first break 3-2 down but only just. He hit 52 to hold. A hold on double 18 and Price went ahead 4-2. Price went 5-3 up on Clayton but again another break was not forthcoming yet as Clayton stayed welded to Price at 5-4 down heading towards the next break.
Price hit double 10 to go into that break and went 7-5 up on return to go three from the finish. After being broken, Price broke back for 8-7 and then went one away at 9-7 with an 11-darter.
Albeit Clayton kept it honest with a 140 checkout for 9-8. He then sealed the deal with a 42 checkout.

Wade edges past Cross in a thriller as Rock finds way past Ratajski
James Wade remained in the reckoning for a fourth UK Open title as he took down Rob Cross 10-9 in a gruelling affair hitting 107 to claim it in a match that saw The Machine pin six 180's.
It was all Wade to start. A 66 checkout on double 20 and he broke for 3-1 against Cross. A 90 checkout on double 15 saw Wade make it 4-1.
Wade missed a golden chance on double 12 to break after Cross missed double 18 and Cross came back for double four to make it 4-2. A 60 checkout for Wade and he was halfway to the finish leading 5-2. At the break Cross remained behind but only just as he pinned double eight for 6-4 down.
A break from Cross who then levelled with an 86 checkout. A 72 checkout for Cross who levels at 7-7 followed.
James Wade was in superb touch against Michael van Gerwen on Saturday night
Wade broke with a 68 checkout and was one away from the finishing line at 9-7. Wade couldn't pin 120 and Cross was back to send us all to 9-8. A decider was set but Wade was the match as he pinned 107 to claim it,
Despite registering just one three treble visit in the whole match, Josh Rock advances to a second successive UK Open semi-final after dumping out Krzysztof Ratajski 10-7.
Ratajski broke early hitting double 10 with Rock back at 114. He was 2-1 up having broken and while Rock held from there, Ratajski always held a narrow lead.
Ratajski hit double 10 for 4-2 up and was now aiming to attack the Rock throw for 5-2. A superb 130 checkout on double five from Rock and he held with a 12-darter for 4-3 down. Two 70 checkouts in a row as Ratajski took a narrow 5-4 lead over Rock.
Ratajski led at the break 6-4 with a 50 checkout on double 16 but this is where it started to go wrong. A 12-darter on double 18 and Rock had the break he craves and was now throwing for a 7-6 lead after being 6-4 down at the break.
Ratajski had not won a leg since the break and Rock now pinned double 10 to win four legs on the spin and go 8-6 up. A 31 checkout on double eight and Rock was at the brink at 9-6 up. He sealed the win from there.
