The 2026
UK Open is due to take place between 6-8 March, 2026 at Butlins Minehead known by many as the so-called FA Cup of Darts. It will be the 24th staging of the tournament with the winner receiving £120,000.
Luke Littler is the defending
UK Open champion defeating James Wade 11-2 in the 2025 final. The tournament's 160 player field makes this tournament with an open draw throughout proceedings.
Big names don't enter until Friday night but it is an open draw anyway meaning in theory Luke Littler could face Michael van Gerwen or Luke Humphries early on in the event with the draw conducted on stage after the end of each round.
It also utilises a multi board room and a second stage making it fast, frenetic and one of the most popular tournaments on the darting calendar.
The main event will be broadcast live from Friday. You can also watch the multi-board room including Stage Two as ever on PDCTV via their subscription. For this you need an
account on PDC TV with annual passes and weekend passes available. The multi board room while it will be referenced on the coverage will not be shown live on TV aside from streaming.
That ceases on Sunday with only Main Stage action from there on out.
How to watch UK Open in UK, USA and Australia
For UK darts fans, the tournament can once again be followed via ITV4. Sessions start at 12:00 PM on Friday, Saturday and Sunday for the afternoon session and the evening session will be from 7pm.
Wayne Mardle and Mark Webster will likely be part of the on-air team.
The weekend schedule has been confirmed with ITV4 and
ITVX (their streaming platform) showing it in full with their new team led by Pete Graves with Wayne Mardle and Chris Mason likely to renew their new on-screen partnership. For years the duo had exchanged barbs on social media and it had become an ITV v Sky Sports rivalry but nowadays they work together showing great on-screen chemistry during the World Masters.
The rest of the team is yet to be confirmed in regards to who will be involved in Minehead out of the likes of Mark Webster, Dan Dawson, Glen Durrant and on commentary Ian Danter, Mark Wilson among others. But a star studded team that has been assembled will likely take centre stage this next weekend.
In the US and Australia, it will be PDCTV that will show the event but this is always subject to change with Peacock in the States and the likes of Stan Sport in Australia having rights to show select tournaments so broadcasters should be checked.
