Raymond van Barneveld has easily qualified for the second round of the German Darts Grand Prix. In the first round Barney won 6-0 against James Wilson.
It was for Van Barneveld his first appearance on the Euro Tour since 2019. The five-time world champion easily saw off Wilson.
Via double 16 and a 14-darter it was 3-0, before Van Barneveld managed to make it 5-0 with finishes of 48 and 70. After that the Dutchman finished it off with a 13-darter.
Martin Schindler delighted the home crowd with a 6-3 win over Jermaine Wattimena, while Dave Chisnall was the last player to reach the second round by beating Ryan Meikle.
