The field for the
Grand Slam of Darts (November 12-20) is basically complete with
Raymond van Barneveld,
Mensur Suljovic and
Alan Soutar among those added on Sunday afternoon.
After the double header of ProTour action, 98 of those involved stayed in Barnsley to aim to qualify for Wolverhampton with James Wade, Dimitri van den Bergh and Daryl Gurney among those to miss out.
Van Barneveld, a former champion albeit down the road at the Civic Hall saw off Mervyn King 5-3 to make it two years in a row through the Qualifier.
Soutar edged past Stephen Bunting with a 101 average sealing it 5-4, while Suljovic also claimed a decider win over Steve Lennon.
Other wins saw Luke Woodhouse see off Gabriel Clemens, with the latter's compatriot
Martin Schindler defying the good form of Mike de Decker for a 5-4 win. Ritchie Edhouse also eased past Niels Zonneveld, while Adam Gawlas was the final through seeing off James Wilson 5-3.
