The action continues at the International Darts Open in Riesa with three impressive wins for Dimitri van den Bergh, Luke Woodhouse and Ritchie Edhouse who are all into the second day.
Van den Bergh was impressive in particular hitting 6/7 on the doubles with a 98.6 average en route to victory including a high checkout of 121. 'The Dreammaker' will aim to make his dreams come true this weekend starting with a 6-3 win over Adam Hunt.
Woodhouse and Edhouse also strengthened their position for the PDC World Championship at the end of the year with victories over Manfred Bilderl and Davyd Venken respectively.
The Bewdley ace put in a brilliant performance winning 6-1 against Bilderl hitting three 180's and a high checkout also of 121. This was all with an average of 94.84.
'Madhouse' averaged 88 in his 6-2 win over Venken with a high checkout of 157 to set up a second round tie with Peter Wright as a result.
