Van den Bergh left in 'disbelief' after dramatic Anderson win: "I fell to my knees for a reason"

Dimitri van den Bergh was left emotional after dumping out Gary Anderson and reaching the Quarter-Finals of the 2023 UK Open.
It was a day where he had a comeback from Anderson and he had to make a comeback to see off Meryn King and was left in 'disbelief' after a display where he never gave up.
“I’m in disbelief - I never gave up,” said Van den Bergh.
“I fell to my knees for a reason at the end - it was a massive win. I took my chances in the end and that’s what I practice and prepare for. It could have been different, but I’m in the quarter-finals.”

- I completely agree with Vincent's comments on "whistlegate". It's great to have someone with Vincent's exprience address this issue, so hopefully clearer and stricter guidlelines can be given to referees, security and members of the crowd. No whistling during throws, and something like: whistlers evicted and fined a hefty sum.
