Legs were shared from there before Wade broke for a 4-2 advantage which was consolidated before 'The Machine' maintained his three leg cushion at 6-3 up as he headed towards the finishing line.
Van den Bergh took out 127 to give himself a glimmer of hope before a missed dart at bull for a 164. Wade had two at double 20 for at least a point but returned after Van den Bergh missed his opportunity to break.
