Dimitri van den Bergh’s World Matchplay win was one that saw records broken and also some interesting statistics.
Van den Bergh as a result of claiming victory at the World Matchplay saw Belgium become the 10th nation to have a winner of a PDC Major title.
He joins the likes of Austria, America, Wales, Canada and multiple winners from Australia, Scotland, Netherlands and England.
England in particular are away from the rest with 14 different winners over the years, Netherlands are second with three different winners in another interesting statistic from the behind closed doors event in Milton Keynes.
