The cracker between Ryan Searle and Jonny Clayton in the quarter-finals of the World Matchplay was played in a friendly atmosphere on Friday night. A fist to the opponent after his good finish and even a hug prior to the second break.
Vincent van der Voort watched the scene with horror, he revealed during his analysis on Viaplay. ''I just like battle. I also just like little bit of hatred and envy,'' 'The Dutch Destroyer' interjected. ''After that, it should all be fine. But during a match, you just have to want to destroy your opponent. You have to want to hurt him. You want to see him cry. That's just nicer,'' Van der Voort stated.
Clayton won the thrilling tie 16-12 and is now set to face Luke Humphries in the semi-final on Saturday night.
