Dawson and Durrant unanimously choose 'phenomenal talent' for Women's World Matchplay: "Beau Greaves wins this tournament and she might win it comfortably"

Last year she was missing from the inaugural edition of the Women's World Matchplay as Fallon Sherrock lifted the title, but this year Beau Greaves will be at the Winter Gardens and a heavy favourite for the victory.

Greaves will take on Noa-Lynn van Leuven in the opening round. "She is the favourite, a heavy favourite," says Dan Dawson in conversation with Emma Paton and Glen Durrant for Sky Sports. "If she plays anything like she has been playing on the Women's Series for 95% of it then she's going to be incredibly difficult to beat."

"The only thing is, she has had dartitis problems and they have resurfaced on the Women's Series for a weekend this year. They've then since gone away but that makes her fragile," Dawson poses. "If she turns up and can throw normally, Beau Greaves wins this tournament and she might win it comfortably."

"There's two elements of darts. There's playing on the floor and there's playing on a major tournament, live on Sky Sports, in Blackpool and suddenly it's a different game," adds former Lakeside and Premier League champion Durrant. "She is a phenomenal talent. But like I said if you go up there and think of former problems, that's when they can be magnified."
