Van der Voort on dumping out Price on home soil: "I didn't play particularly well, but that crowd is just amazing"

Vincent van der Voort found his way through to the Quarter-Finals at the Dutch Darts Masters after a dramatic 11-leg clash with Gerwyn Price.

While admitting he wasn't at his best, he will now play Danny Noppert this evening after a night of action where all but two top PDC names fell by the wayside.

“I didn’t play particularly well, but that crowd is just amazing,” said Van der Voort.

“Any win against Gerwyn Price is special. He is the world number two, he’s one of the best players in the world. I’m very happy.”
