Van Duijvenbode captures lead on Players Championship Order of Merit

Dirk van Duijvenbode is the new leader on the Players Championship Order of Merit after last weekend's two floor tournaments.
The 30-year-old Dutchman secured his second tournament victory of the season in Barnsley. In the final of Players Championship 6 on Sunday evening, Van Duijvenbode was too strong for Ryan Searle, the number two on the rankings.
The new number three in the rankings is Ross Smith, who took victory on Saturday. Danny Noppert is fourth, followed by Kim Huybrechts in fifth place with the lead spread among the five winners.
Michael van Gerwen with his best run of the season moves into 45th, while Peter Wright is down in 110th. Gerwyn Price is within the top 20 in 17th with the top 64 qualifying for the Players Championship Finals.
