Van Duijvenbode sets personal best average with 115.70 as lead at Players Championship 6

Dirk van Duijvenbode also managed to throw his highest ever recorded average on his way to the title at Players Championship 6 on Sunday.
The Dutchman recorded an average of 115.70 in his third-round match against Cameron Crabtree (6-1). This was also the highest average of the entire tournament.
Van Duijvenbode also reached averages of 105.36 and 103.92 throughout the tournament, while Michael van Gerwen managed to produce 107.46 and 105.60. Incidentally, the second highest average of Players Championship 6 came from Luke Humphries (108.30), followed by Daryl Gurney (107.68).
