Michael van Gerwen has reached the summit of Group A making it six points from six defeating Gary Anderson 10-4.

Van Gerwen sealed the deal with a 146 checkout and also hit a 101 average en route in a routine win over 'The Flying Scotsman'.
Anderson produced an excellent opening foray including a 152 checkout but Van Gerwen quickly squared it up at 2-2 including a 78 not missing a single dart at double.
Mighty Mike took the lead from there and without pulling up any trees looked already quite ominous on the doubles. A 140 checkout saw him continue a devastating spell and go 4-2 up establishing daylight not giving Anderson a trace.
Anderson had a rot stopper with an 84 checkout after Van Gerwen had won five consecutive legs. He missed a crucial chance including seven missed match darts and Van Gerwen as a result romped to a 7-3 lead.
Van Gerwen hit back to back legs storming towards the finish at 9-3 up and despite Anderson keeping it alive, it was only a matter of time with MVG claiming victory.
