Van Gerwen heads into PDC World Darts Championship with highest annual average

Michael van Gerwen has the highest average to his name with all PDC tournaments counted in 2022. Over his 149 matches, the Dutchman threw an annual average of 98.58.

The surprising number two is Damon Heta with an annual average of 97.61, while Luke Humphries (97.58), Gerwyn Price (97.39) and Peter Wright (97.31) follow close behind.

Dirk van Duijvenbode is the second Dutchman in sixth place with an annual average of 97.20. 'Aubergenius' leaves behind the likes of Michael Smith (96.75), Jonny Clayton (96.62) and Rob Cross (96.58).

Also impressive are the figures of Josh Rock, who made his debut on the PDC Tour this season and has already left a big impression. The Northern Irishman registered an annual average of 96.37, good for 11th on the list.
