In the run-up to the PDC World Darts Championship, many players use the few weeks off to play exhibitions to keep match sharpness.
On Friday night, José de Sousa, John Henderson, Joe Cullen, Alan Soutar, Daryl Gurney, Gary Anderson, Paul Nicholson, William Borland and Simon Whitlock were booked for the Granite City Masters in Aberdeen, Scotland.
The tournament was won by De Sousa. The Portuguese won over Cullen in the semi-finals, then was too strong for Whitlock in the final.
